Course Overview

This 12-week program immerses beginners/intermediate students in the technical, creative, and strategic dimensions of fashion photography. Through studio shoots, location work, and digital labs, students master camera fundamentals while experimenting with lighting, composition, and post-production. The curriculum balances industry realism with artistic exploration—covering editorial, commercial, and digital content creation - culminating in a professional portfolio.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will be able to:

Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras: manual exposure, focus systems, and lens selection for fashion contexts.
Control artificial/natural lighting setups (softboxes, reflectors, golden hour).
Direct narrative-driven shoots: model posing, styling synergy, and mood-based composition.
Experiment with techniques: double exposure, motion blur, and color-grading.
Edit photos using Lightroom/Photoshop (skin retouching, color correction).
Produce a portfolio with 8+ cohesive images across genres (beauty, street style, e-commerce).
