Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Aim Enable students to acquire knowledge and skills related to creativity, sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship within fashion management.
Equip students with the necessary theory, encourage autonomous learning and critical thinking through personal development.
- Aim Value and encourage our students to become problem solvers, by empowering our students to apply research methods and techniques in order to carry out intellectually challenging projects relevant to the changing business environment.
- Aim Create an environment that will prepare students for entry into relevant employment or self-employment, and to allow students to respond to professional opportunities. This will be achieved through industry relevant projects, guest speakers and entrepreneurship support.
- Aim Produce graduates who have a high level of professional skills, including communication and collaboration through the use of digital skills supported by hybrid learning approaches.
- Aim Provide opportunities and support for professional development and further study through an inclusive learning environment where students can specialize in their area of interest through path options.
- Outcomes An ability to critically discuss underlying concepts and principles associated within the contemporary global fashion industry.
- Outcomes A knowledge of inter-disciplinary approaches to problem solving, implement decision-making and teamwork through autonomous learning and collaboration.
- Outcomes Develop an ability to manage your own learning and to make appropriate use of learning and networking for future employment.
- Outcomes An ability to generate concepts and ideas through in-depth quantitative and qualitative research processes and experimentation and to communicate them through established digital tools.
- Outcomes An ability to evaluate how organisations can develop cultural, social and diverse values to recommend strategies to grow and develop sustainable businesses.
- Outcomes Evidence of engagement with the Creative Attributes Framework including resilience, self-efficacy, curiosity, story-telling and connectivity. The emphasis being on employability, learning strategies, underpinning skills, and personal development.
ASSIGNMENT CRITERIA
All modules and assessable projects will be graded according to the following system. With respect to those units that are designated 'Approved for Pass/Fail' the grade will be either P or F:
