A $50 nonrefundable fee is required as part of an application to PPFI. However, we know that applying to college can be expensive, which is why we offer fee waivers to ensure the application process is accessible for all students.
We encourage all students to check whether they are eligible for a fee waiver before applying, particularly if the application fee may be a barrier to them. Requesting a fee waiver will not disadvantage your application in any way.
Applicants must submit payment online using a Visa, MasterCard, credit card or ABA app. We also accept cash if the application is submitted in person.
Payment (or fee waiver) is due at the time that you submit your application. We are unable to refund the application fee under any circumstances once an application is submitted.
We offer a fee waiver for the following students who plan to apply with financial difficulty:
Students for whom the application fee presents a hardship, and those with other indicators of financial need.
Students who are a part of the first generation in their family to attend college.
